Towan Island Greetings Card: Cornwall Beach Reflection
Town Beach Reflections in the Sand square greetings card.
I captured this photograph at Towan Beach on a bright sunny day in November. An iconic sight on Newquay's Towan Beach, the 80 foot high island is topped with a property that can only be accessed by the suspension bridge from the mainland. The island was originally purchased in 1838 and used to keep chickens, until a suspension bridge was built in 1902 followed shortly by a house. I love this gap between the island and the mainland, reflected in the wet sand below, all topped by the suspension bridge.
